Working towards peace and sustainability

Join Us November 2 for Peaceworks' 27th Annual Dinner

Peaceworks invites you to join in sharing the solidarity that comes from being an intergenerational community committed to progressive change; to the creation of a peaceful, just and sustainable future for all. We also will celebrate the good and important work being done to promote these ends, and give out some awards to those making outstanding contributions.

This year we will be gathering in the multipurpose room of Missouri United Methodist Church at 9th and Elm at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2. Hors d’oeuvres will be served at 6 o’clock, and dinner shortly thereafter. Following dinner, there will be a short program including music performed by The Human Konstruct. Awards will be presented to Tyree Byndom, Peggy Gray, Lawrence Lile, Community Garden Coalition and Terra Nova Community.

We suggest you bring something from the following categories, based on the initial of your last name: A-I: main dish, J-P: salad or vegetable, Q-R: beverage*+, S: dessert, T-Z: appetizers*.
*We request that guests bringing hors d’oeuvres or beverages should arrive by 5:50. +Please, no alcoholic beverages.
