Community Forum ”Peace Economy: What Does it Mean to You?”

We invite you to join us for "Peace Economy: What Does it Mean to You?”  This Community Forum will explore what a Peace Economy means, how our lives today and our future might be impacted, what’s keeping us from attaining a Peace Economy and much more. Speakers will present basic information on a Peace Economy, and, in an open forum format, all in attendance will be given the opportunity to add their perspectives to the discussion.

This free event will be held in the Commission Chambers at the Boone Government Center, Eighth & Ash Streets, at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 29. Note that due to the construction going on in Courthouse Square, you will need to approach the Government Center from the Ash St., rather than the Walnut St. direction. There is ample free parking on the street and in the two city lots on the north side of Ash at Eighth St. If you have questions or need more information, please call 573-875-0539.
